Website Maintenance: The Importance of Keeping Up in 2010.

You have a website for your business. It’s been done for a while. But it’s just been sitting there, collecting dust. You’re thankful that you spent that money a while back so that you had a web presence so that pieces of the couple of billion people on the planet that have internet access could have access to your business online, but it hasn’t been updated in a while. You’re not on facebook, you’re not on twitter, you have no email newsletter, your website doesn’t even show up on page 10 of Google, and you haven’t been spending any time marketing your business. How do you expect to get new people in the door??
There are a few simple things you could do.

  1. Create a Facebook page for your business
  2. Create a Twitter page for your business
  3. Get started on an e-mail newsletter with Constant Contact
  4. Hire someone to do your SEO (Google Search Engine Optimization)
  5. Beef up your look. Spend some time, hire a designer to help you make your website look better.
  6. Hire a company to help you maintain your website, so you and/or your marking department can focus on larger marketing efforts.
